President : Filip Geeraert


After graduating from college and serving 1 year in the service, in 1983, Filip Joined
Bekaert Textiles (Belgium) as a financial analyst. In 1984, Filip changed jobs and went
to work for Bekaert Corporation – a steel company also based in Belgium-for 12 years,
where he held several finance positions. First, a 2 year assignment in the Information
Technology department, followed by a 3-year expatriate position in NY (Manhattan) as
Consolidation Accountant for the US based Bekaert subsidiaries. In 1989 he moved to
Tennesee (Dyersburg) as Plant Controller. In 1990, he returned to Belgium for a 2 year
Steel Cord Division Controller assignment. In 1992, he moved to Italy as Financial
Director of the Italian operations. In 1994, he returned to Belgium to start-up a European
Distribution Center. In 1997, He left Bekaert and joined Deceuninck, first as Corporate
Controller for the Group Deceuninck and after wards to move to Monroe OH, to take on
the position of VP of Finance. Today, he currently holds the position of EVP and CFO of
Deceuninck North America.
 

Deceuninck is an integrated worldwide Group, specialized in compounding, mould
manufacturing, design, development, extrusion, finishing, recycling and injection
moulding of PVC window and sealing systems, including wood composite applications,
for the building industry.

He has a master’s degree in Accountancy from the Catholic University of Antwerp and a
master’s degree in Information Technology from the Catholic University of Leuven.
 

He is a Board member of the EACC (European-American Chamber of Commerce)
